Tried to cancel my services and was told i was in contract from march after i explained i downgraded to my original package she agreed that i was right but i was in contract from december so i had to explain again that i upgraded to 300mbit had problems and downgraded again within 14 days and she checked my notes and said yes that's correct but i'm in contract from march and i said wait in minute you just agreed i was right and she said her boss looked at it and i'm wrong and i'm still under contract.
Now another person told me on the fone a few days ago i wasn't under contract so obviously someone is trying to rip me off.
So i'm gonna cancel my direct debit this is a joke
Engineer out today, He explained the UBR is over utilized because they have added more areas around us (mullusk, brambles) so they need to upgrade the CMTS, They said they have been told it should be fixed by the 2nd week in May
I have cancelled my service's which goes off on the 5th May and ordered BT but Virgin contacted me today saying the problem's should be fixed in the 2nd week in may so they offered to give me the whole of May for free to see if the problems are fixed and if there not by the end of may i can cancel again
Thanks for the explanation, Also in area 26 I got the same estimate for second week in May. When I asked why no fault ticket info in my area status in myvirginmedia, they said it didn't warrant a fault ticket as it was the just the box in my area that was at fault.
