Just spoke to the fairly useless support team again who still refuse to acknowledge that this is an area issue.

This is getting ridiculous and someone from Virgin needs to get involved in this.

It usually takes Virgin staff about a week to respond. Replying to your own post puts you at the back of the queue as they reply to the oldest first.

I am in area 24 and i posted a question this evening as my download and upload speeds have been crap to say the least for about 4 days. Am getting anywhere between 3 and 9 Mbps for Download and 5 to 11 for Upload and i should be on 150!! at least that is what i pay for.

Makes doing simple searches painfully slow and streaming TV or Music impossible.

Thanks for posting, big apologies for the problems you're having with your connection at the moment. I've just tested your equipment and the local area. Your power and SNR levels are good, no time-outs and the area is free of fault. The usage in your area is low so no concerns with regards to contention.

Has this settled down at all?

Usage low in Area 24, is that a Joke? We've been affected by F004132235 for about 2 years now, and its getting worse.

You then have the cheek to send us letters saying your increasing our bill, try increasing our speed first...

My Broadband Ping - Alex VIVID 300

Virgin you really need to sort this out. Had a technician visit yesterday, everything on the modem/router is fine. Clearly is an Virgin problem on your end, in this area. Fix it!

This is an absolute joke, the problem went away (as if by magic) about a week ago an now here we go again and Virign will still not admit this is an area issue.

if so could we post some more thinkbroadband charts to see if we are all getting the same packet loss at the same time ?
