Area 22 problem

Merry Christmas everyone....

For a few weeks there has been a reduced service in my area (22) and speeds are 30% to 55% there was (is) a fault that was worked on until the 20th (I believe) and classed as fixed but the speed has never returned. Today the services went down this morning for an hour or two and I thought I would check my virgin media test... it said all my equipment is running perfectly and the only fault in my area is for android streaming, but checking ookla it shows around 50% speed. Has the problem in this area really been resolved or is there a new problem or is the service reduced for a different reason?

 

is there a discount for reduced services over a week long?

Do not forget that area 22 just refers to the billing area, what's your post code mine being LS13 (area 22Leeds West Yorkshire)

No problems in my area, full speed using 200Mb game level,

Maybe you could just be effected by a utilization issue, like too many users sapping the bandwidth?

Brian I am also in ls13 but have been seeing speed decrease during the day and packet loss throughout, take a look at my ping monitor linked below.

I'm paying for 300/20 and packet loss isn't what I expected paying the amount I do.

My record traces are completely different format to yours! (I use SamKnows monitoring 24/7)

3pm yesterday speed drops for 3hrs from 220Mb down to 50Mb, whilst upload from 21Mb down to 20Mb for the same period.

Latency peaked @6.00pm to 20ms.

No noticeable difference in game play when I came online at 9.00pm.
