Area 21 extremely slow - evenings

Hi, I'm in the W5 post code of area 21.

In the past week, evening speeds have been unbearably slow - below 1 Mbps and it's taking half a minute or so to load a web page. The connection is also intermittently dropping, whether connected via Wifi or Ethernet.

During the day I'm getting speeds of 30 Mbps. Is there a fault that the 'Service Status Checker' isn't showing?

Area 31 as well, not quite as bad as yours but down to 5.9 mb from 200 mb after 4pm.

This is now getting worse - speeds of 0.10Mbps down in the evenings and 0.06 up. 

Whenever an engineer has visited he has commented on issues with the strength of the signal in our area. Could anyone advise based on the below table pulled from my Super Hub please?

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the community.

 

Sorry to read that you are having issues with your broadband speeds during the evenings.

 

Looking at your connection there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing these slow speeds. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F003402163 and with a review date of 30th November.

 

I will pass this across to one of my colleagues who will be in touch with more information.

Hi Sam,

It's a month later and my connection speed is consistently 0.10Mbps still, despite paying for a 50Mbps connection. I really don't feel like I'm getting value for money - could you please look into providing an update?

The review dates always get pushed back. 

 

Just so you know i have had this for 2 Years now Smiley Happy It will probably be either March or April for your next " Review "
