Area 21 Speed low so low!

What is going on with the Area 21 speeds in the past few weeks!

My internet from at least half 3pm, goes so low that it almost just as bad ADSL+2! What it is going on with my connection, for the past 4/5 hours its been so low. When I am on the meant to be on the so called "150mb" service!

Now for technical questions. I would ring up customers services. However they are just as bad and just follow a simple set of rules when I am telling them the problem and freak out. 

I am wired connected to the Superhub 2ac, using a Cat6 cable (which I changed to make sure its not the cable). I have removed all other internet items that using it, via cable/wireless still has not made a difference at all! So Virgin Media is so quick to put the price up but yet offer slower speeds/rubbish customer services. When my your self work in the IT section and I tell them what maybe the problem/problem is and they do not believe you what the problem is.

Hi GamerCub,

Apologies for your poor speeds - I shall do all I can to help with this. Thank you too for saving time by trying a new Cat6 and disconnecting other devices Smiley Happy

Your Hub's posted power levels are fine and are pretty much the same in the tests I've just run. I can find no network errors or dipped SNR on the upstream segment to which you connect and there is definitely no issue with peak time congestion.

This leads me to believe that there may perhaps be a problem with the Hub itself. Would you perform a full factory reset please? If there is no improvement after that please run a couple of speed tests via speedtest.net and post the results on here. It might also be a good idea to run a BQM and post that output on here too. these results would be helpful in diagnosing any potential network related issues.

My thoughts are leaning to a replacement Hub but I'll wait for your reply first Smiley Happy
