After update to VIVID 150 Optical Fibre

Hi, After update from VIVID 100 to VIVID 150, I have some problems with download speed. It's dropping down to 15mb/s. Can you please take a look is it any problem around my area? Postcode: PO1 4HY, area: 20. I think, I can still back to VIVID 100 if it's going to help me. I never had any problems before update. Can you let me know ASAP please.

VM reply to posts in oldest date order. Every time you reply you are put to the back of the queue. The current response time is 1-2 weeks from last post by you on your thread.

If you require a quicker reply (although not always correct/good) then you can battle through the phone staff scripts. They will likely promise you a fix date but it will only be a review date. Their scripts call them fix dates.

Re: After update to VIVID 150 Optical Fibre

Hi there kukky,

Thanks for posting back on the community.

Sorry to read that you are having issues with the broadband speeds.

When I checked your connection, there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing slow speeds. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F004171411 and with a review date of 1st March 2017.

As this will effect your broadband during peak hours, do you notice the slow speeds outside these hours?

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam

Re: After update to VIVID 150 Optical Fibre

I think 00:30 is outside of peak time and my speed is.. 53 mb/s

I also spoke to customer service about this and been told that I will get any recompense because of this, but nothing was added to my accout yet. When it may happen?

Peak times vary by location. Student locations see peak times into further hours of night for example.

Re: After update to VIVID 150 Optical Fibre

Hey there kukky,

Thanks for getting back to us Smiley Happy

Apologies again about the fault in your area, I know it's disappointing.

As Samantha has said, the fault will be reviewed in March, but in the time being please keep in touch and let us know if you have any other questions.

When the fault is reviewed in March we will have much more info to share.

I appreciate your patience,

Take care.
