8mb instead of 50mb

Hi I signed up to virgin 50mb fibre broadband this week and have only been receiving 8-10mb dl speed most of the time...also I keep getting disconnected for a few seconds quiet a few times a day...only a few seconds but as you can imagine when I am gaming it can become very irritating...anythig that can be done? Thank you

How are you connecting wired or wirelessly?

If wireless, try wired directly to the hub

Posting some basic diagnostic info may help.

Navigate to the hub's GUI using http://192.168.100.1
Don't log in, click the Router Status button in the top right of the screen.
Copy \ Paste the Downstream, Upstream, and Network Logs.

Don't worry about the formatting.

Ive lent my laptop to a friend for his uni work atm. So I'm only on the Xbox one so I doubt I could do any of that..thanks for giving suggestions tho Smiley Happy
