70Mb BroadBand - Poor speed

Hi.  i'm on 70MB service.  Speeds used to be excellent at pretty much all times.  Now, from about 7.30pm roughly, speeds consistently go down to as low as 2-3MB down.  Strangely, upload speed is usually constant at the advertised  rate.

Can someone check to see if there is a utilisation issue here?  I suspect there is, and looks to be a common issue current with Virgin.  If there is, i'm going to need some sort of refund for the poor service until it gets fixed.

Also, i'm still stuck using the original godawful superhub.  Is there anyway for this to be swapped out for the latest model router?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

 

Sorry to read that you are having issues with your broadband speeds. I know how frustrating this can be.

 

Looking at the network, there is a high traffic during peak hours. I have passed this onto our networks department for further investigation. When I have further updates I will let you know.
