I've been getting really bad download speeds for the past few weeks on my Vivid 100 (150Mbit) SH2ac in Maghull area (L31). Typically its 4Mbit during peak times, it goes a bit higher if I stay up past midnight but its still no where near (at 20Mbit) the peak speeds I was seeing in Oct / Nov. Certainly much too slow when I'm paying £50 a month.
SH2ac is in modem mode into Asus gigabit router.
I've tried rebooting, resetting, checking the cables and phoning up Virgin and tried the chat box but still don't know what is causing it or when its getting fixed. The last time I called the person said there was an area issue and gave me a diagnostic reference number which is 38682426 (not a Fxxxx no.)?
Dunno what the problem is but this is quite annoying.
