1.5mbps from a 70mbps in Surrey area

I realised that there is some issue with South London at the moment. Does that include Surrey as well? My download speed is only 1.5mbps from a 70mbps package, upload speed is faster at 5mb? Not sure if anyone having problem with that?

Im getting 0.10 Mbps downloads on a 152 mbps line. Area 28 i think the crap has hit the fan with VM

After reading some other posts, it looks to me that it is quite a nationwide problem at the moment. Any suspected network attacks?

Just tested it now. Still disappointing.

See here, why is the forum mods not replying. The online customer chat is also down at the moment, very frustrating.

Ok, it is again, a painful speed tonight. It is as if I first used Virgin 2M broadband, 10yrs ago!!!

And then, this has been around for a few days...

Our engineer is working to fix the problem.

The fix estimate keeps on extending, I doubt that it is going to be fixed soon. What is going on here.

Area 28 has been dead since this afternoon I'm getting 0.05 Mbps. This is the 2nd time in the last few days that it's played up.

I was lucky to get hold of an online chat slot this afternoon after trying a hundred of times. There is certainly some problem with my line but I am not sure whether it is an area wide problem or just simple is my own line. 

I am still getting this right now...

The internet seems to have sorted itself out (probably the lines were fixed somewhere in the streets) this weekend. Hope this will not happen again.
