There is a scam e-mail supposedly from Virgin Media.

The scam e-mail states that your account is in arrears and you will need to re-submit your bank details by a certain date or your account will be closed and you will have no further access.  It is quite convincing, but comes from a (.net ) address and not (.com or co.uk) address.

There are many scam emails, too many to count, aslong as you're aware of how to spot them you'll be fine, sadly the people that can't spot the wont read here anyway :/

Re: There is a scam e-mail supposedly from Virgin Media.

Hi,

I got one of these emails this morning (27/02/2017) and it is from a .net address.

Interestingly it has conincided with a barrage of phone calls to my landline number from 08000-135333.

This is also a scam number pretending to be Virgin Media.

I'm not sure if there's any link but it's a bit of a coincidence.

Cheers

Stu
