Cydoor Spyware and Supremo Innovations

Hi. when I tried to log on to Virgin Media email I got an error code 035-107-067 and a message (claiming to be from Virgin Media) that my system appeared to have been hacked by Cydoor Spyware. It was recommended that I telephone 0-800-046-5706 whish was the contact number for Supremo. Is this company recommended by Virgin and the Community for correcting security faults?

Re: Cydoor Spyware and Supremo Innovations

It's a scam, ignore it.

It's highly likely to be just a popup which, as before, you can ignore quite safely... rather than the machine being compromised.  If you're still concerned, scan it with MalwareBytes (or similar) or speak to a professional.

There is no such thing as a genuine  support number pop up

.they are all scams

Never never ring anything that pops up saying they can fix your pc, which you did not know was broke.

No isp will ever use unsolicited pop ups to offer telephone advice
