cable connector broken

Hi

We have had some work done recently to our house and the workmen have managed to pull off the connector of the cable end and now it does not screw in properly.  We have managed to get the internet working by sellotaping the cable in place however we sometimes have to wiggle the cable wire around to make sure the connection works and the connection is quite loose.

is there any way this can be fixed either by replacing the cable wire or repairing the connectors?

thanks.

Re: cable connector broken

The cable is VM's property. Also any repairs should be carried out by them, as unauthorised repairs can cause "noise" to leak into the local network. I would ring 150 & treat it as a fault, for which the callout should be free.
