Waited week for engineer visit and now it i worse didnt take notice of what I told him

So last Thursday had even worse service to normal reported out and went through the normal painful process of reset this change wireless channel that blah blah. Explained that post RS pre RS errors are through the roof. They said next appt. is today. Engineer came and scanned barcode on router and said everything showed green. I showed him all the errors on the router, but he thought what he had was better than what I was looking at. He went saying all fine but it was still slow and has now come to a stop.

Ive flagged your post as those power levels, are borderline but your SNR is WELL out of spec.

Ok thanks, this is exactly what I said to the engineer, not sure of the app he had on his phone that was showing green for everything I reckon that was just that it had 8 channels locked at the time hence green but he didnt look at the error correction that was being applied. My son is well peeved he is currently number 1 in the world on the new COD game, had 2 days where he couldnt play so people are catching. I say go out and play on your bike or with a spinning top and a bit of string :-)

 

Was told that engineer who attended today would be back tonight nut then got a call to say thats not going to happen and next visit is a week away! Told them not good enough and just send anyone as clearly the guy who attended was not interested in what I was showing him but still no one available. Eventually got a call back and they reckon Sunday still quite poor service.

Also where is the reset for the stats as per the below

To reset the Pre and Post RS error counts please use the Downstream screen under the router status screen available from the login page.

Sorry to hear your technician appointment didn't go very well.

 

To reset your counts on the Superhub, just switch it off at the mains for a minute then switch it back on.

New router installed still got errors shouldnt they be as close to zero as possible? Engineer said something about a fault in the cab that has been reported out but shouldnt  affect service

Those power levels and SNR are looking a whole lot better.  You only need to worry if you are getting lots of Post-RS errors on a continuing basis (you'll get some anyway whenever you reboot the hub and before it settles down.  Pre-RS errors are perfectly normal and to be expected.

There's still an awfully high number of Post-RS errors. It's normal to get a few hundred when the modem reboots, but there are over 100,000 on several channels which definitely is a problem.
