There's been an intermittent fault on my line for 2+ days

I'm in Bedford (area 24) and have superfibre 70 which I've had since it was NTLworld (15 years or so) so I don't have a new modem/router.

Over the last couple of days, my internet access went down then intermittently came back on for anything from a minute or so, to an hour or so, but then this morning went off completely - so I'm doing this just in case it goes down again and stays down for a long period.

I've tried calling the faultline (0345 073 1111) but that shuts off as soon as it connects. I can't find an email address to send a message on, but basically just want to know whether the problem has been sorted properly, or whether it's a temp fix.
