Stupid lead time for installation

Does anybody know how to speed up an installation? Virgin have wanted a month, 10 days into that month now. The surveyor came the other day and said all was well for the install to take place. Sky came and put in the TV yesterday and in fact could come in less than a week to do broadband! I cannot get a figure for early cancellation nor the install date moved forward!!

 

Help please, being without internet costs me money via loss of earnings, another 14 days will be a killer!!
