Setting up online

I set up a new broadband contract on Monday, requested my router to come today (Thursday) however it has not arrived and i have not recieved anything from Virgin to confirm details of what is happening. It's really frustrating as i am without internet.
Online chat don't help they tell you to call the helpline and it is impossible to get through to speak to someone on the phone as you are just kept on hold.
