For some reason my gaming connection is horrid in the day time and can only play after 12 midnight.

Re: SNR returned ?

Hey there cjenks11,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

Sorry to hear you're having slow speeds, I know this is inconvenient.

I've taken a look at your connection, I can see that we're working on a fault in your area under ref: F004292539 which is due for review on the 2nd Nov. While this is on-going you may notice peak time speed reductions.

I know this isn't the best news, please accept my apologies.

Take care.

Re: SNR returned ?

Just had the most frustrating phone call ever with VM , telling me to turn my router on and off and change wireless channel , even know I told them I'm wired , at the end I had to call it a day as i was not getting anywhere ping high 88-200 and my upload speed is reaching only 3mbps whereas I'm getting my advertised download speeds.

its been 2 months now...............

Re: SNR returned ?

It sounds like you have a contention issue Virgin selling more broadband than they have the capacity for, the reference number does not give a firm date for resolution, rather a date it will be looked at, and a new date give in can take a year or so to resolve, but you don't have a start date for the issue so don't know how far away a resolution is

Re: SNR returned ?

If its not solved by the end of the month im off , my contract is over so theres nothing holding me back , paying for speeds im not getting and VM are so inconsistent, id happily half my Internet speed just to have that consistency  , im only getting 3mbps upload speed and thats not enough with the job i do, should be getting 11.

Re: SNR returned ?

Hey cjenkins11,

Thanks for getting back in touch, I hope you're well Smiley Happy

I wanted to check your connection again, but your Superhub appears to be offline so I can't get any readings from it.

I'll drop you a PM (purple envelope, top right) as this is either a fault or you've powered off.

Speak with you very soon,

Take care.
