SH2 Freezing

Hi,

I keep getting problems where my SH2 freezes and will only start working again after a power cycle. it is not possible to connect to the router admin pages when this has happened.

All the lights remain blue and look as normal when this happens.  When the SH2 freezes both WiFi and wired connections stop working. The WiFi signals are still visible but it is not possible to connect to any of them.

When the SH2 is operating it appears to work perfectly but The frequency of faults is increasing and  this is now happening at least daily and often more than once in a day some days. .

The T4 errors are indicating the hub is dropping connection to VM's CMTS and re-registering. This would explain why the hub is "freezing".

The hub's power levels would have been usefull in the case they can offer further clues, but you will need VM to take a closer look.

You will need to contact VM for resolution, either by waiting here about a week until a VM Forum Team Member picks up the thread, or give them a call on 150 from a VM line or 0345 454 1111 for a quicker response.

Sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your connection.

I've just taken a look and I can see you rebooted 2 hours ago, and since then there's been no further time-outs. Two hours isn't long enough for us to get reliable results so would you please leave your Superhub online without rebooting it over the weekend so I can check again on Monday morning.

Yes, I rebooted it since it crashed otherwise it is always left on permanently

I've just checked your connection again this morning and everything looks completely normal. No time-outs since your last reboot and all other readings are looking good. How have you found your connection over this weekend?

>How have you found your connection over this weekend? Don't know, I've been away since Saturday. Although i have been able to "see" my cloud drive there over the weekend with no problem.
