Replacement HUB3 fails to connect to Internet

Hi guys,

Thanks to a previous thread the Admin team have sent me a replacement HUB3.

But I can't get it to successfully connect to the internet. It's stuck in a loop.

After initial boot up,
1) base LED is solid green
2) Internet connection flashes green
3) Internet flashes red
4) base led flashes green.
Rinse and repeat.

WiFi is connectable but no Internet is available. Ethernet wired connection is simply not working at all.

Connecting to the 192.168.0.1 local address has offered the diagnostic screen which fails, and the language selection screen for what I think is the base Arris device with a basic VM skin.

Coax cables appear fine.

Can anyone advise?

anything you get from virgin media have to be ring up to actice them even replacement stuff
its not plugin and play its to stop people from selling vm stuff to other people

Using VIVID 350 Optical Fibre, Player TV, Talk Weekends

For the purposes of testing I've reattached my original HUB3 and successfully reconnected to the internet without problem.

have you ring up the actice line number you got with the new hub if you have not thats the problem you have to register it to your account

I'm now back on track.

Seems I don't read what on the cover on the manual, and skipped right head to Step3.  My bad, thanks for the pointer.
