No internet - status says "please contact your cable operator"

No internet and green button flashing. Got a please contact your cable operator message on my laptop. How do I resolve this?

i would be having a chat with broadband support via 151 / 0345 454 1111, if you wish to have support via the forum community, could you post what hub you have and what other lights are on/off/flashing on the hub..
also if you have V+/Tivo can you access the ondemand content?
