My daughter cannot get internet connection through her virgin router.
The tick sign light is not on at all.
Her phone seems to be not working either.
Has she used the Check Service Status (top right of this page) to see whether there is a known issue affecting the area?

I did the check service status.
There were no known problems ih her area so I cilicked the run test button.
It got to about 60% complete then stopped with the try gain in 10 mins message.
I did that with the same result.
Just did the check area again and this time got the following message
If youre having issues connecting to various external websites, thank you for being patient and sticking with us while we work out the problem and fix it as quickly as we can.
Am not sure this will fix her connection issue as she has no internet access at all.

Got an engineer to fix the problem.
It seems there was fire damage in the box at the end of the street.
The broadband is running normally now.
