Moved house a week ago, services installed at new property today but engineer left while service was installing - TV is working but we have no BB and no dial tone on phone. Just used all mobile credit on hold trying to contact virgin - 'this is my last hope of help! Can somebody contact me to help?

Which clearly indicates you have not got a WAN connection to the VM network. You could try checking that the cable connections at the back of the hub and at the wall socket are not loose, but other than that it looks like a return visit by an engineer is required. It makes my blood boil when I hear of installation engineers leaving a site before checking that everything is working.
