No cable in my flat

Hi

I've moved temporarily to a flat, and there's a Virgin box, but no cable anywhere, I need to connect my broadband kit up so I can use it here. Am sorry if I sound stupid, but if I buy a cable, how do I connect it up?

Re: No cable in my flat

Firstly, virgins coax is specially made, you can t buy it anywhere. It has to be immune to ingress from DAB radio & Freeview signals. Using the wrong standard cable can mess up the entire local network segment.

Secondly, you contract is to operate your equipment at your current address only. You can only use it somewhere else by creating a new contract at the new address. The MAC address of your equipment is linked to the local street node at your current address. If you plug in anywhere else on the network, this will be detected & your equipment will be disabled.
