No Broadband or TV

When I returned home from work yesterday I had a card from Virgin informing me that they were working in the area,they said I might have an interruption in my services and if I still had issues at 6pm to call them . I have no TV or any broadband services due to whatever Virgin were working on and after speaking to one of their operators I have been informed that the earliest an engineer can look at an issue, which they created is next Monday. In this day and age I find this totally unacceptable,what are my options moving forward.
