New customer - help!

The tech guys have only just left and we are stuck already.
We have the 'Set up your TiVo remote control' screen on. We have followed the instructions, the volume and mute work. We can't see the bottom half of the screen and can't work out how so I googled the last instructions which turns out to be 'press OK'.
We have also done this! Now how do we get off the screen? We have pressed every button on the remote and nothing seems to move us on.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: New customer - help!

Hi there Eleanormarion,

Sorry to hear about the trouble experienced.

I can see that you've also spoken with the team in regards to this.

I've refreshed everything from this end and the equipment appears to be stuck in an offline state at the moment.

If you're still having trouble with this, I'm more than happy to arrange an engineer visit for you.

I've sent you a private message so that we can chat some more,

Nat_J

Re: New customer - help!

Hi Virgin team

I have the same problem. I received the tivo box on 16 May.

We can't see the bottom half of the screen. The "standby" button fails to wake the TV on (step 5) in "set up your tivo remote control". I have pressed all buttons but cannot return to the "home" or channel selection screen.

Can you please resend the signals? Thanks.

Re: New customer - help!

Hi jscript,

Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this.

Has the box frozen completely? If so, try rebooting the box by switching it off at the mains for a minute then switching back on.

Let me know if you're still experiencing issues after a reboot and I'll check it out.

Speak soon Smiley Very Happy

Josh
