New activation issues

Hey guys,
I had VM with SH3 installed on Thursday at around 3pm.Installation engineer left without making sure everything worked OK and since then I have been trying to get some help both over the phone and using online chat in order to "activate" the service. Internet is still down despite multiple promises made by support people.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with their new connection?

Thanks
Mike

Re: New activation issues

Still no luck :-(

SH3 was replaced in the morning by a VM engineer - activation is still not going fully  through though.

I have been told that there are still issues with new activations in my area and it will be resolved in the next 24-48 hours.

Not a good start at all.

Mike

Re: New activation issues

Ha!

I got activated at last! It has only taken  5 days, multiple calls to support and a new modem.

Anyway - now suffering from  low download speeds on Vivid200. Upload speed seems OK:
Download: 11.27 Mbit/s
Upload: 10.78 Mbit/s

Does this look normal ?

Downstream bonded channels
Channel	Frequency(Hz)	Power (dBmV)	SNR (dB)	Modulation	Channel ID
1	298750000	6.4	38.9	256 qam 7
2	322750000	6	40.3	256 qam 10

4	306750000	6	40.3	256 qam 8
5	290750000	6	40.3	256 qam 6
6	282750000	6.1	40.3	256 qam 5
7	274750000	6.1	40.3	256 qam 4
8	266750000	6.4	40.9	256 qam 3

Thanks

Re: New activation issues

Hey Led77,

Oh no! Sorry your activation took so long!

Thanks for joining us here on the community, it's great to have you Smiley Very Happy

I've taken a look at your connection and I can see we've currently got a fault on-going in your area which can be responsible for reducing the speeds, especially during peak time hours (evenings and weekends). The fault ref is: F004609619 and it's due for review on the 5th April. When the fault ticket is reviewed we will have more info on the progress that we can pass over to you.

Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Speak with you very soon.

Take care.

Re: New activation issues

Thanks Heather_J,

I guess, I need to wait for the review on the 5th of April...

Indeed weekends and evenings are not great in terms of download speeds:
