New Superhub 3 - 'registration failure'

Hi there,

I've just received a new Superhub 3 to replace my Superhub 1. Attempts to set it up result in the error 'registration failure' for the internet connection. Running the diagnostic gives me 'No Internet Connectivity. Please contact your operator'. The SH1 was connecting fine on the same cable just a few hours ago.

Thanks for reading,

Will

Did you phone in and get it activated?

Re: New Superhub 3 - 'registration failure'

Hi there, thanks for replying - no I didn't. I thought that was just for new customers. So do existing customers have to call to activate a new superhub?

Yup. There should be an automated number in your pack.

Re: New Superhub 3 - 'registration failure'

That's done the trick - thanks very much! Download speeds are terrible, but that's another thread. Weirdly, I called the same number last night, but got put on hold to speak to an operator rather than the automated message.

Best,

Will

Re: New Superhub 3 - 'registration failure'

Could be the power levels are out of whack-

Im sure you've checked the cable as when you were trying to get it to work, but worth checking again. The "F" connector (end of the coax) should be aligned right, finger tight.

Check for sharp bends in the coax- that can affect your speeds...

Then post your power levels and network log from your HUB's log in screen.
