NOISE STILL ON THE NETWORK IN S6 AFTER 6 YEARS!

Hi Virgin

Yet again this noise problem in s6 still not fixed! after so many years trying to get them to find the source of the noise they do nothing!

been put on 20 downstreams and the SNR now is all over the place dropping to 32 and 33 with loads of post rs error going up all the time!

Re: NOISE STILL ON THE NETWORK IN S6 AFTER 6 YEARS!

Hi Jb

Has it looks like your off work today come upto sheffield and i will show you the noise on the network if you read all my old posts since i had the vmng300 in we had noise in the s6 area gaming is so bad on the line for it! they SNR is moving up and down alot from 32 to 37 at the time i posted this snr looks ok apart from that odd power level on one of the channels! has you can see the post rs dont lie and can see noise is there and goes up fast!

so pop round help me find the problem cos they cant even fix my cab door after a year and 4 months of trying to get them to sort it! dont know how people get jobs at vm when i keep trying to get on with them!

cheers

Re: NOISE STILL ON THE NETWORK IN S6 AFTER 6 YEARS!

Hi Exoticcshot,

Thanks for getting in touch, I am sorry to see that you have been having trouble with your connection.

I have taken a look and it seems you are affected by fault ref F004771314 for slow speeds at peak times. The current review date is 12//04/2017.

Please give this thread a bump closer to the time and we will get an update for you.

The SNR levels seem to be ok currently, if you could pop up another screen shot when you notice the SNR levels changing then I can take another look at that for you.

Keep us posted.

Many thanks

Emma

Re: NOISE STILL ON THE NETWORK IN S6 AFTER 6 YEARS!

Hi Emma

The speeds seem ok at peak times its the noise on the line that's the problem my brother can't play online games cos its that bad post rs are going up all the time someone needs to find out why SNR always dropping to 32 33 then back up and the noise is always on this end of the network for some reason maybe the speeds wouldn't be so bad if they found the problem where the noise is coming from.

Cheers
Shaun
