NEW BUILD ISSUE!

 

I have a problem - I moved into a new development a month ago now. The property is pre-wired with Virgin, but no box or cabling internally yet- just on the outside wall coming in.

I only need an appointment with a Virgin engineer to do the rest- and therein lies the problem-they cant give me one because its not set up & the address is not recognised on the website yet.

All that's needed is the address to be released. Please can anyone on here get the new build officer to release my address as completed?

I wish to stay loyal to Virgin but must say I'm sorely tempted to use another provider unless this can be resolved promptly.

Do you want my business Virgin???

This question comes up quite often from people moving into new-builds.  Just because a new development has had ducting and possibly cables laid does not mean it is connected back to Virgin Media's infrastructure yet.  Completing that can be months down the line and I doubt you'll find anyone in VM able or willing to confirm when that may be.
