Moving Hell

Happy user for 5 years until i moved house.

Despite telling Virgin the cable was damaged at the new premises and would need replacing, a tech guy turned up to reinstall my broadband only to tell me that he couldn't install as the cable was damaged. No sh!t Sherlock, I told the moving team this. My account has since been put into some kind of completed status meaning nothing can be re-arranged until I.T. fix the status which takes 7 ( yes seven) working days. Talk about computer says no!! so now i need a re-pull which i'm being told will be February, but they cant book as account is in this weird status. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone trying to sort this - 

Surely this can't be normal working practice

hiya @mikehansford normally the IT guys have it fixed with 24/48hrs depends if they have a backlog of issues to deal with first. yeah sadly some dept don't talk to others or check the notes on the account first.
