Move Wall box to different room.

Hi all,

Had some building work finieshed (at long last!) and TV is now in a different room.

I'd therefore like to move the room where the virgin media wall box is situated, which will need some cables running. Am aware that I need to get a Virgin engineer out and to pay a fee (~£99?) to get this sorted, but I literally can't find what number to call Virgin on to arrange this. Would like to get this done properly rather than a DIY type job.

Does anyone know the support number?!

You can always call Retentions. Its a UK call centre, but they do far more than just try to retain customers.

150 from your Virgin Phone option 4 then 5.

Moving points is not a DIY job. Virgin use specialised cable in order to prevent interference entering the network. Also changes to the length of cable will require adjustments in the street cabinet to avoid you having service issues.
