Internet down for 10 days

Hi, my internet had gone down for 10 days already (fault ref F005148569 )and every day the estimated fix time was delayed to the next. Service engineer came and couldn't fix the problem, apparently a network problem is present. It has already been 10 days (and still counting), would it be possible for someone to at least inform me what went wrong and give a proper accurate estimate on when the internet will come back up?

hiya @retrogene welcome to the virginmedia community forum, you would be looking at around 5+ days for a reply from the forum admin team, you could contact broadband support via 150 / 0345 454 1111 or using online chat via http://contact.virignmedia.com (using PC/laptop) but this is extremely busy service

It has been almost 14 days with no internet in the area and estimated fix time is still being pushed back day after day, what is going on?

Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to learn you've been without broadband for this long.
