Installation - sometime today?

Hi,

I'm due to have my connection installed at some point today between 1pm and 6pm. I need to get a few things done this afternoon and would really like to get out of the house.

I've tried calling customer services but there seems to be a problem with VMs phone systems at the moment so I just get an engaged tone or instantly cut off.

Can one of the forum staff get me some contact details for my tech - or at least help me get greater clarity around what time they're arriving?

Yes, you won't really be able to find out.

I was promised a call when the first team would arrive to dig up the garden and another call when the installer was due to activate the service.  Neither happened.  The first team just arrived unannounced and the installer luckily came shortly after the start of my time slot.
