I recently referred a friend to move from Sky to Virgin.
The installation engineers did a preinstallation check 3 weeks ago and said there were no problems
They arrived yesterday to install the cable etc. said there was no wire in the access point and left with no indication of what would happen next. Calls to Virgin have been no help.
He has cancelled SKY from the end of this month and they cannot re-instate it for 3 weeks.
As he runs his business from home this is a massive problem.
How do you get to someone in charge of intallations who can make things happen?
you or the [new] user need to use the phone or chat if its working - not a lot the staff here can do - add to that they take a week or more to get to threads
if its important for business your friend may be better looking at a business package - the domestic package is just that and should not be used for business
