Increasingly poor internet and wifi performance.

For the last lot of weeks my internet has been very erratic and the wifi keeps dropping and needing frequent reboots of the superhub 2.

 

In the Belfast arera and the network log reads as follows:

could you also post your upstream and downstream levels.

Also could you confirm that you have the same problem with a wired connection, looking at that log you probably do, but just to make sure.

Wired connection seems pretty solid, if a bit slow at times.

You're power levels, at least to me look ok, and as you say that the disconnects are just Wifi, so is probably a wifi issue.

Could be a problem with your hub, and a member of Virgin staff will be along in a week or 2, but 1st its worth checking a few things.

If possible could you get a wifi scanner app for your phone and use that to see if your Hubs signal is clashing with any of your neighbours.

Also do you have any baby alarms or other devices that could cause wifi interference.

And if your Hub is has a 40Mhz wide signal reduce it to 20Mhz. 20Mhz may be slower however as its narrower its less likely to have interference and so is more reliable.

I also suspect tje hub wifi.you have about three wifi antenna and the noral 4 ethernet ports. Too mNy devices may be part of it.check how many are connecteda.d diconnect them all turn thwm pn one at a time intil you sed the
