Hub 3 still not connecting

Hi,

2 engineers later still not internet or TV! Oh and a new customer! Big thumbs up so far ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway tonight something's changed! Suddenly the base light turned white and the Wifi light illuminated the arrows continue to flash... still no internet!

Any ideas?

go to 192.168.0.1 , don't log in click on 'check router status' and see whats happening.

This doesn't even work.... I get a page that displays

'Your unit is updating, please wait for a moment'

Been like this now 24 hours

The Hub has to update before it goes online but not for that long

Do you have a Tivo or V6 ?

If its a Tivo do you have any pictures on  it and do the On Demand services work..

It may be worth doing a pinhole reset on the hub and then waiting a bit more to see if it updates properly.

Resetting your Virgin Media Hub

If it gets stuck updating again, then you may need to ring up for a new hub.

Smiley Sad this is my 4th hub already I've had 2 engineers two! I'll give the pin hole reset a whirl! I think I have TiVo but that won't work as the broadband won't work the engineer couldn't get it to do its thing! All so confusing! So glad I didn't cancel my sky!

Is the tv box about the same size as the Hub or much larger .

What did the engineers have to say.

Hi Pete,

I am so sorry about this. It's definitely not what how we'd like to welcome you to Virgin Media Smiley Sad
But I have tested your broadband and it looks like that at least is now working for you. And your other service issues have been addressed too so hopefully soon everything will be online.  Not the best start but things are now headed in the right direction.
Please keep us updated on how things progress, we'll be happy to step in and help if needed. And welcome to our Community, hope to see more of you on here. For the right reasons of course!
