Hub 3 problems

I connected my new Hub 3 last night, following all the instructions, to find that it wasn't working, I called 150 and whilst on hold it started working as I was able to access the internet. However, this lasted for about 30 minutes then the wi-fi light started flashing green as did the base LED light. I unplugged both hub re started my mac which seemed to cure it. However when I shut down my mac within 10 mins the internet had disappeared again and the same thing happened. I did the same thing this morning turning off the hub, only for the connection to drop once i had shut down the mac. I have had a superhub for a number of years and never encountered any problems whatsoever, so am rather perplexed as to why this is happening? Has anyone encountered anything similar?

Did you leave it turned on long enough for all the updates to come through? Can take about 30 mins or more to fully update

I am thinking of returning to my Superhub 2

If you do go back you need to activate the Hub2 again..

Yes I've just seen that. I should have looked at the forums before I upgraded as I have never had any problems with my broadband before!

I would call Virgin first to see if they can fix it before reverting..

I will give them another call. 

Hopefully, after being on all day it might have started working!
