Hub 3.0 power consumption

Does anyone know the power consumption of the Hub. 3.0?

My electricity bill has gone up by £7 a month since going from a modem to the hub.

Nothing else has changed that can account for the extra power usage.

Re: Hub 3.0 power consumption

It requires a 12v * 2.5 A power supply so 30w

30w for 1 month would be 22.32 Kwh

on a reasonably expensive tarif of 15p per Kwh that would be a total of £3.35

However that actual power usage will be less then that.

oops didn't see the reply before this, and no way to delete a message (that I can see)

Although it is winter now, so darker evening, i.e. more light use, maybe more mugs of hot chocolate Smiley Happy, and do you have any form of electric heating...
