Hub 3.0 on/off switch?

hopefully not too dumb a question!
I had an upgrade yesterday to Tivo and the new 3.0 wifi hub.  as the engineer was running late, I didn't really get a chance to check the hub until after he left and I can't work out if it has an on/off switch!
He said there was one at the back, but I've not been able to find it.

If there isn't an on/off switch, is it OK to unplug the hub at the mains at night?  Its installed in our bedroom, so the light is annoying and my dumb phone tends to connect randomly to the wifi, so I had the blooming thing buzzing away all last night!

Re: Hub 3.0 on/off switch?

Isn't there a small power switch on the back at the very bottom?

EDIT:  Actually looking at an image of the back it seems there isn't one.

Anyway, yes it's ok to unplug it at any time.  Obviously it will take a while to boot up when you restore power, it's not instant on.

Re: Hub 3.0 on/off switch?

Thanks!  The lack of switch is a little frustrating but at least the plug is easy enough for me to access - just as long as it doesn't cause any issues in my doing so.

Re: Hub 3.0 on/off switch?

The Hub 3.0 does have a power switch. It is down at the bottom, next to where the power comes in. See this picture. Don't worry if your hub is black.

Re: Hub 3.0 on/off switch?

ah yes, just found a photo online, I assume this is the same as mine although I don't recall finding this switch last night!
