Hub 3.0 not connecting

I am trying to set my new hub up. I have followed instructions in the book however it will not connect. The base light is flashing green and the internet light flashes green and then red. It just keeps doing this same process over and over. Devices are picking the hub up and are able to connect to it but then not the internet as the hub wont connect.
