Hub 3.0 no connection

Cancelled virgin this morning as not many hd on demand movies and also cancelled broadband. Then decided after a brief hunt of other providers I'd stay with virgin so phoned them back to reconnect. Was told all okay on the phone. However Hub 3.0 not working now, just cycles between green and then red flashing arrows. Have powered off several times but still no joy. Am I missing something or do I have to wait for them to reconnect the service in a day or two? Thanks..
