HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

I've just recently had a Hub 3 modem and 50Mbps connection installed. Internet speed seems OK. My only issues are:

1) When trying to access the HUB3 by it's IP address, each page seems to take about 30 seconds to load.

2) When renaming the connected devices via the home page of the HUB3, sometimes it registers it correctly and other times it seems to muddle up your entry with other connected devices. (I have the MAC address of every device in my home, so I know for sure when renaming).

I never had these problems with the SuperHub that I had before this Hub 3. Anyone else having these problems?

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

My Hub 3 also has the VERY slow page loading times, often unresponsive.

I've never tried the naming of devices as mine automatically have the right name! Haha.

I believe it would take a firmware update to fix the GUI for the Hub 3.0, which the forum team would have very little control over, other than escalating a ticket I guess..

Maybe someone else has found some sort of solution for this, however this is unlikely.

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

Hello Simosky

Sorry about your problems with the hub 3, as Jake mentioned these are firmware issues that we are already aware of. We hope to be updating it soon.

Thank you for your patience

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

Hi there Matt_R,

Thanks for your post.

Sorry to hear that you're having these issues with the Hub 3.0.

The date for the next firmware update is TBA at present, but we will certainly notify customers when this becomes available.

Other than this, I am currently unable to detect any issues with the equipment or network segment.

Please let me know if there is anything more I can help with.

Many thanks,

Nat_J

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

Hi,

my Hub 3.0   has  V9.1.116V firmware and this release has not fixed this issue of messing up names.

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

It does seem marginally quicker now to navigate between menus, so I guess that's 'some' improvement. I'll need to check the original renaming mess to see if that's sorted or not (but probably not going on worf105's post......)

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

Just tried the renaming of connected devices and yes, STILL unresolved. 10 months ago I started this thread regarding this problem and VM have STILL not sorted it. They were, however, very prompt to install my broadband and take my money Smiley Sad

Re: HUB 3 Connected Device Names muddled

Same here. Can't reset names beyond a certain number as they either rename themselves or they rename a different entry,

Nice to see the community is responded to nice and quickly.
