Green flashing lights on hub3

I have been trying to set up our new modem and have now waited 5 hours for it to connect. Green flashing lights on WiFi LED, internet LED and base LED. What do I do next?

hiya @Jmac2 welcome to the virginmedia community forum, did you call the activation number?, also if you re-attach the old hub can you get online?

Yes we've rung the number for reactivation. Have just tried reconnecting the old modem but it is not working, it also has a green flashing light against the tick sign and my laptop says No internet.
