Faulty PSU

I have a super hub, it's been fine but I had to unplug it and on plugging the adapter plug back in its making a really high pitched noise. I telephoned CS and was told not to use it and they would send replacement. I was a bit concerned that haven't received an email confirming replacement so telephoned again today to be told nothing is being sent out. Apparently they are sending a modem (?). I'm really confused, I don't whether anything's being dispatched or not. Is there any way of checking with the UK, I think I've been dealing with an overseas callcentre. Is it safe to use the plug?

Re: Faulty PSU

Not safe. Check "my orders" in My Virgin Media. If not there, phone again. You must get it replaced with a VM original.

I do not work for VM. The advice I give is based on my best understanding of VM policy and practice. You rely on it at your own risk.
