For the second time this week my SH2ac network log is showing a failed software update attempt ... see first three lines of log.
Could this be the version 2 that has been talked about recently and it's failing because the SH2ac is in Modem Mode?
SW upgrade failed
Modem mode will not affect SW downloads.
AFAIK failed SW updates are nothing to worry about. It seems the SH's will download the SW and then decide it's not applicable. There are a few older posts here on the Forums about the exact same thing.
Well there's been a development. We had a power cut last night and when the power was restored and the hub rebooted, low and behold it is now on software version 2.01.11
Whether this turns out to be a good thing time alone will tell.
