Existing coax for installation?

Considering moving from Sky to Virgin, no existing Virgin sockets inside my property - question is, I have a utility cupboard outside which has an existing new length of shielded Coaxial cable which ends up behind the TV in my lounge.  Could the engineer use this coax as the last leg to deliver the Virgin service (thinking of broadband + TV) without running more cabling around the house?

Thanks for any assistance, I tried Sales and Customer Service on the phone and neither could properly answer the question!

Re: Existing coax for installation?

Virgin coax is special and that coax is probably standard tv aerial coax.. so pretty certainly a no.

How does the cable for the Sky box get into your property?
