Damaged cable

Hi .. we have managed to damage the cable running from our box to the tivo box. The cable is completely broke. Are we able to buy cable to replace this and just re run it ourselves? Im concerned hubby hoing to find using the amazin prime stick down stairs ok amd will want to disconnect virgin if i dont get this sorted quickly

Virgin should be able to send out a cable is the wall box is still in tact. It can take VM upto a week to reply here so you could try the phones and see if you get someone that understand the problem. if not you might have to wait here for VM to get to the post

Yes we just drilled through the wire .. as you do so everything else is ok just literally need a new wire Smiley Sad thank you

really? that seems like a waste when you send them as part of the quickstart kits. Recommend that policy gets reviewed as its not only a waste of time for the OP but also for the engineer when its only damage with the cable from the wall to the box.
