Customer service

Hi, I have recently signed up for a virgin broadband, tv and phone package.
A cardboard box with gizzmos arrived for self install, which is fine.
However the box had half the contents missing.
I have reported this to virgin who didn't seem to bothered. They said they would send me the missing items sometime over the next week.
It has now been a week and virgin have only sent me one more item so far and so I still can't use the equipment. What is it i am paying for?
I could go to my local supermarket and get an empty cardboard box for free, this would save me hundreds of pounds and yet I would still receive the same level of service I am currently getting from virgin!
Is BT any better? Anyone know?

Missing parts: HDMI cable and the Remote control for the box.

I've checked out the account and I can see you've been sent the missing remote and HDMI lead. Are the services working OK?
