Is it possible to connect to my home network via the router when away from home?

Yes, it is. You will need to setup remote access and open the firewall. I don't have the details on me at the moment, but it can be done.

As long as you realise that a gateway for you is a possible a gateway for other unwelcome visitors. Make sure you use strong passwords to secure the backdoor you create.

I totally misunderstood the question and I know feel stupid. I'll stay out of these techy questions next time. Smiley Wink
